CLARIFICATION TEXT ON THE LAW ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

The highest possible security measures are taken to ensure that your personal data is collected, stored and shared in accordance with the law and to protect your privacy.

Pursuant to Article 10 of the “Personal Data Protection Law” No. 6698 and in line with your satisfaction, we inform you about the ways your personal data are collected, the purposes of processing, the persons shared, legal reasons and your rights.

1)DATA CONTROLLER
In accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data, your personal data will be collected and processed by MARSALA DOKUMA BOYA SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş. as the data controller within the scope described below.

2) THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH PERSONAL DATA WILL BE PROCESSED

Your personal data are processed in accordance with the basic principles stipulated in the KVKK and within the scope such as the execution of our Company’s operational activity processes, business relations and human resources processes, meeting the demands of the relevant persons and the continuation of technical processes, ensuring the commercial security of the Company, carrying out our work, and are stored securely in physical or electronic media for the appropriate period of time for the purpose of processing. MARSALA DOKUMA BOYA SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş. acts in accordance with the obligations stipulated in all relevant legislation, especially KVKK.

• Your identity information: Your name, surname, Turkish ID number, passport number or temporary Turkish ID number, place and date of birth, marital status, gender, insurance number and other identification data that can identify you;
• Your Contact Data: Your address, telephone number, e-mail address and other contact data, your personal data obtained when you contact us via e-mail, letter or other means;
• Your Accounting Information: Your financial data such as your bank account number, IBAN number, credit card information, billing and invoicing information;

• Sharing the information requested with the relevant public institutions and organizations in accordance with the relevant legislation,

• Providing the necessary information in line with the requests and audits of regulatory and supervisory institutions and official authorities,
• Maintaining information about your data that must be kept in accordance with the relevant legislation,

Your Personal Data obtained and processed in accordance with the relevant legislation may be transferred to the physical archives and/or information systems of MARSALA DOKUMA BOYA SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş. and kept both in digital and physical environment.

It will be processed within the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of Law No. 6698 for the purposes of examining, evaluating and responding to requests from official authorities or you.

3) TO WHOM AND FOR WHAT PURPOSE THE PROCESSED PERSONAL DATA MAY BE TRANSFERRED
Your personal data, within the scope of the Law and other legislation and for the purposes stated above, MARSALA DOKUMA BOYA INDUSTRY AND TRADE INC. ‘s companies, our partners, shareholders, Social Security Institution, General Directorate of Security and other law enforcement agencies, General Directorate of Population, Courts and all kinds of judicial authorities, central and other third parties, your authorized representatives, lawyers, third parties from whom we receive consultancy, including tax and financial advisors, regulatory and supervisory institutions, regulatory and supervisory institutions, business partners and other third parties with whom we cooperate to develop or carry out our commercial activities for the above-mentioned purposes, including official authorities.

5) YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

Your rights as a data subject pursuant to Article 11 of the LPPD are as follows.

MARSALA DOKUMA BOYA SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş. will finalize the request free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty (30) days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. However, if the transaction requires an additional cost, we will charge the fee in the tariff determined by the Board.

• Learn whether personal data is being processed,
• Request information if their personal data has been processed,
• To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used for their intended purpose,
• To know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,
• To request correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing,
• 7. to request the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7,
• To request notification of the transactions made pursuant to subparagraphs (d) and (e) to third parties to whom personal data are transferred,
• To object to the emergence of a result to the detriment of the person himself/herself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
• In case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data, to demand compensation for the damage.

6) DATA SECURITY

MARSALA DOKUMA BOYA SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş. protects your personal data in full compliance with all technical and administrative security controls required to be taken in accordance with information security standards and procedures and at an appropriate level against possible risks.

7) CONDITIONS FOR DELETION, DESTRUCTION AND ANONYMIZATION OF PERSONAL DATA

Although it has been processed in accordance with the provisions of the legislation, personal data shall be deleted, destroyed or anonymized by our Company ex officio or upon the request of the personal data owner in the event that the reasons requiring its processing disappear or the mandatory periods stipulated by the legislation for its storage expire.

In this context, our Company has taken the necessary technical and administrative measures within the Company to fulfill the relevant obligation; has developed the necessary operating mechanisms in this regard; and trains, assigns and raises awareness of the relevant business units to act in accordance with these obligations.
