Contribution to Women’s Employment from Gold Exporter Marsala

UTİB President Pınar Taşdelen Engin reminded that they could not hold last year’s award ceremony due to the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş and said that this year they gave the awards for 2022 and 2023 together. Stating that Marsala Tekstil was entitled to receive the Golden Exporter award in 2022 and 2023, she said, “We will continue to stand by all exporters who contribute to the development of the Turkish textile industry in the global market. In addition, as we see our companies with a high number of female employees such as Marsala Tekstil, our belief in the increase in female employment increases. Hopefully, as the number of companies like Marsala that attach importance to women’s employment increases, the role of our women in business life will increase even more without the need for positive discrimination and by preventing sexism, and we will achieve new sectoral successes as a union.”

Meaningful Cooperation at Award Ceremony

A cooperation protocol was signed between Marsala Tekstil and S.S. Her Dem Women’s Initiative Production and Business Cooperative, which is under the jurisdiction of the Provincial Directorate of Trade in Bursa.
